The IBJJF maintains a graduation different from that of adults for children between 4 and 15 years old.
There are 5 belts which are, from lowest to highest graduation: white, gray, yellow, orange and green. And within each color, except white, there are 3 different belts: the first has a white stripe centered and along the entire belt, the second is plain colored, and the third has a stripe also along the belt, but black.
