Fairtex

Fairtex is without a doubt one of the best Thai brands for combat sports. The brand, originally a clothing label, was created in 1958 by Philip Wong, a Thai national who, passionate about Muay Thai in the 1970s, decided to start manufacturing products for Thai boxing as well. In 1975 he founded the Fairtex Muay Thai Camp, one of the first training camps to open its doors to fighters from other countries — not just Thai athletes, as had been the norm until then.

It's an innovative brand that develops products with unmet training needs in mind, having created new formats for shin guards, gloves, pads, and more — designs that other brands later copy. But Fairtex doesn't copy. It innovates.

Their products are used at the highest competition levels in Kickboxing and Muay Thai, sponsoring events such as Glory, the world's premier Kickboxing league, and also in MMA, where Fairtex is the official sponsor of ONE FC, the leading MMA event company across all of Asia.

Despite its Muay Thai roots, the brand has long been creating products for MMA as well — and proof of their quality came in 2008, when their MMA gloves were named the best in the world at the MMA Awards by Fighters Only.

On top of that, as a brand founded by Muay Thai and combat sports enthusiasts, Fairtex carries out social initiatives every year, directing a portion of the proceeds from product sales to help underprivileged children and athletes who want to train in Muay Thai but can't afford the equipment.
