The Venum protection mask has a category 1 classification and can therefore be worn by individual professionals in contact with the public.
To offer a high level of protection, it comprises three layers:
- Layer 1: interlock fabric 95% polyester, 5% elastane, weight 250g / m2.
- Layer 2: 50S Fabric 100% Cotton, Width 165 cm, weight 200g / M2.
- Layer 3: 26S cotton fabric 100% Width 170cm, weight 170g / M2.
According to tests carried out by the French Ministry of the Armed Forces, the Venum mask filters 98% of 3 micron particles and 89% of 1 micron particles.
The Venum Protection Mask has been tested and certified for 10 washes, it's likely to withstand many more washes, but no tests have been carried out.
The shape of the mask complies with recommendations issued by the French Association for Standardisation (AFNOR).
Finally, and because it's a Venum product, we've done everything possible to ensure the masks match the rest of the textile ranges.
Technical characteristics:
- Outer layer: 95% polyester - 5% elastane.
- Filter: 100% cotton.
- Edging: 100% cotton.
- Machine wash at 60Β° for a minimum of 30 minutes.
- Steam ironing at a temperature that won't damage the fabric or elastics.
- Caution: ironing doesn't replace washing under any circumstances.
- Category 1 professional masks. AFNOR validation. 10 washes guaranteed.
- It's recommended to wash your hands before and after each use of the mask.
- Only touch the side elastics when removing the mask.
- It's recommended to wash the mask after each use for effective protection.
- For hygiene reasons, returns or exchanges of this product are not accepted.
